The Bosch Smart System BES3 for e-bikes is a pioneering platform that takes your e-bike riding experience to a new level. The system combines six central components into a perfectly harmonised unit to offer you a unique riding experience and integrate the possibilities of the digital world. Compatibility and ease of use were particularly important to Bosch. Your bike will always be up to date, even with regard to future developments. Here is an overview of the main components and features of the Bosch Smart System BES3:

The eBike Flow app

With the app, you are always up to date and have your bike fully under control. The app offers you the following options for your riding experience:
  • Customise riding modes
  • Service appointments at a glance
  • Record tour and fitness data
  • Connect with friends
  • Updates for your e-bike experience via Bluetooth
The app is the main component for full connectivity.

Kiox 500,300 or Purion 200

Your display element in every situation. Do you want to know how fast you are travelling, how far your journey has gone or how much charge is left in your battery? The system's smart displays will tell you. Use the displays for navigation functions, activity tracking and much more. For bikes with a smart system, the Kiox 500 or Kiox 300 can also be easily retrofitted. These also have the advantage that you can use them as a key for your e-bike.

LED Remote

Your control unit to keep a quick overview of your settings in any situation. Thanks to easy-to-read LEDs in all weather conditions, you can use the LED remote control element to adjust your speed, switch through your Kiox or activate the lights on the bike at any time. You can also use it to easily control the Walk Assistant if things get a little too steep.

Drive Unit

Bosch offers you the fully networked Drive Unit for your Smart System in different variants for different purposes. A new feature is the ability to customise your individual riding modes to suit your needs. Parameters that you can set here in the E-Bike Flow app include the level of assistance, dynamics, maximum speed and maximum torque. So you always have the right riding mode for your use.

PowerTube, PowerPack & more

The many different smart batteries also contribute to the networked mobility of the Bosch Smart System. With them, you never have to worry about being left in the lurch on any tour. As the most powerful energy supplier in the Power Tube series, the new large PowerTube 750, as the name suggests, offers you the most power. There are almost no limits to your tours with the Bosch batteries.
