The CN-E6090 chain has an asymmetrical design. The running direction must therefore be taken into account when fitting the chain. The specially shaped plates optimise engagement on the sprocket and result in even smoother shifting, even under load. To save weight, these chains have cut-outs on the inner plates. The side with the marking is the outer side.
