PLAY. FAST FORWARD. REMIX.

The 4060 Z ST has the same geometry as the 4060 ST, but comes with extra power. Thanks to the small, powerful Shimano EP8 motor and a 720 Wh battery, you can ride even the longest trail playlist. Drop into your favourite lines and combine the best single trails into one big tour - the Z 4060 ST gives your ride more power.

Geometry without compromise
A motor and a battery shouldn't compromise the riding experience, they should enhance it. To maintain the playful ride feel and dynamic characteristics, we use the geometry of our non-motorised bikes. Same experience, just with a power boost.

Powerhouse
The latest EP8 motor from Shimano packs a mighty 85 Nm of torque into a slim, 2.6 kg drive package. Compact dimensions and intelligent design keep the centre of gravity low, exactly where it should be.

Battery included
The compact Darfon 720Wh battery lets you ride further and play longer. Thanks to full service support from Shimano, you don't have to worry about technology and maintenance. All you have to think about is charging the battery for your next ride.

Carbon frame
Developed for dynamic riding behaviour, manufactured with precision. Carefully processed high-end carbon fibres ensure a frame that is light, stiff and robust enough for tough trail use - and can withstand the occasional bump, riding error or crash.

First-class suspension
Our Lower Link Activated Virtual Pivot kinematics in combination with durable Enduro Max bearings offer the best grip and progressive support when you go all out. The intelligent design ensures a precise, agile ride and is compatible with air shocks and coil shocks.

All the bells and whistles
Performance should not come at the expense of functionality. With space for a water bottle and mounts for additional equipment, you're ready for any adventure.

Good prices but poor customer service/support.

The only reason I purchased a bike from this company is because of the crazy low prices, however that is about where it stops! The communication and customer support has been very poor so far. I really hope this improves in future. I cannot imagine how it will be when I have a warranty claim etc.

Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles

The safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles requires careful checks, regular maintenance and proper handling. These instructions provide you with practical recommendations for safe use and should be followed in conjunction with the operating instructions of the respective manufacturer.

1. Safety checks before riding

The following checks should be carried out before every journey:

Brakes and steering: Test the functionality of the brakes and ensure that the steering is smooth and stable.

Tyres and wheels: Check that the tyres are correctly inflated and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are secure.

Fastenings: Check that attachments such as mudguards, pannier racks, saddle and pedals are securely fastened.

Accessories and load: Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly fitted and that the permitted load capacity is not exceeded.

2. Technical safety and authorised use

Component inspection: Regularly inspect safety-relevant components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bike if there are visible defects.

Maximum load capacity: Observe the weight limits for the total weight (bike, rider, payload and trailer if applicable). The details can be found in the manufacturer's information.

Proper use: Only use the bike or e-bike within the scope of the intended use category. Improper use leads to safety risks.

Accessories and modifications: Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers and do not make any unauthorised modifications, especially to the drive system of e-bikes.

3. Special instructions for e-bikes

Battery and charging process:

Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.

Charge the battery in a safe place and in accordance with the temperature specifications.

Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.

Electric assistance:

Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the pushing aid. Test the e-bike in a safe environment first, especially with different loads or difficult ground conditions.

Running in the disc brakes:

Run in new brakes before your first big ride to ensure optimum braking performance.

Transport specifications:

Observe the manufacturer's instructions and legal regulations when transporting.

4. Special safety rules for children's bikes

Duty of supervision: Children may only use bicycles under the supervision of a responsible person.

Suitable size and equipment: Make sure that the bike is age-appropriate and that all safety devices (e.g. brakes, reflectors, chain guard) are intact.

Loading and accessories: Attach child seats and pannier racks securely and ensure that the load capacity is not exceeded.

5. Care and maintenance

Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning agents. Avoid high-pressure cleaners to prevent damage to electrical and mechanical components.

Regular inspections: Schedule regular maintenance at a qualified specialist company to check for wear and ensure safety.

Spare parts: Only use original or approved spare parts to maintain the functionality of the bike.

6. Behaviour after the ride

Documenting damage: In the event of recognisable damage or malfunctions, the bike must not be used any further. Have it checked by a specialised company.

Avoid hot components: Avoid contact with heated components such as brake discs or drive units to prevent burns.

Final notes

This safety information provides you with a comprehensive overview for the safe use of bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles. Always follow the operating instructions of the respective manufacturer and contact a specialist dealer if you have any questions. Safe and responsible handling not only ensures your safety, but also extends the service life of your bike.
