The ESCAPE is our most popular pedal
Thanks to its robustness and countless colour variations, it is used and appreciated by countless mountain bikers worldwide. If you take a look at the pedals on the bikes in the bike park on your next visit, you are sure to spot an ESCAPE pedal or two.
Internally, we like to call it "THE bike park pedal" as it is almost impossible to destroy the pedal body. Time and again, we receive pedals from customers on which we carry out a service on the bearings and axle, which clearly show years of use. Despite countless "encounters" with stones and roots, the ESCAPE pedals remain functional and continue to delight their owners with their performance for years!
The combination of aluminium and steel pins, distributed over a generous footprint of 10 cm by 10 cm, offer incredibly good grip. A good and secure footing on the pedal is just as important as traction between the tyre and the ground.
The pedal turns a little slower from the factory, but this is intentional. This prevents the pedal from turning on its own if you take your foot off the pedal during a tight cornering manoeuvre!
The extremely fair price-performance ratio and, last but not least, the huge choice of colours also contribute to the ESCAPE's success.
