The Northwave Core Plus 2 Wide cycling shoe comes with an NRG Air Carbon Reinforced sole with a stiffness index of 8.0 and 5 ventilation openings for perfect air circulation. It is SPD pedal compatible (mounting plate not included). The seamless unibody construction of the upper material reduces pressure points. 4 breathable mesh inserts and pores over the entire surface ensure optimum ventilation. The SLW3 twist fastener with extra Velcro fastener ensures a perfect fit: the only twist fastener with the only one with gradual loosening or complete opening at the touch of a button
