The Mondraker CRAFTY CARBON XR has the BOSCH Performance Line CX Race Motor on board, which makes the bike so special.
The CRAFTY CARBON XR is one of the first bikes available on the market to use this new motor.
A premium combination of classy appearance and previously unseen motor performance and characteristics.
Long name - clear statement: Race. The new Bosch motor is as exclusive as it is powerful. More aggressive, more dynamic and with unprecedented acceleration, Race mode offers 400% motor support compared to the 340% in Turbo mode of the conventional Performance CX model. The torque remains the same at a full 85 Nm. Equipped with a magnesium housing, the motor weighs 2,750 grams and is therefore exactly 150 grams lighter than the standard Performance Line CX series motor.
One of the most important features of the new Bosch Performance Line CX Race motor is the "Race" mode, which is one mode above the traditional "Turbo" mode. Both modes can be configured via the eBike Flow app, as can the settings for the other support levels, dynamic acceleration, initial acceleration, top speed and maximum torque.
Another feature of Race mode is the "extended boost", which is already familiar from eMTB mode, but in Race mode has an even longer boost that opens up unimagined possibilities in technical passages, single trails and uphills.
Like the other Smart System models in the CRAFTY collection, the CRAFTY CARBON XR also features the new Bosch System Controller (a module integrated into the top tube that can be used to switch the motor on and off, but also to switch between the support modes) and the wireless mini remote control, which is located on the left-hand side of the handlebar and can be used to select the support mode intuitively. The external Kiox 500 display can also be used to check all the ride data, providing the widest possible range of information about the spectacular CRAFTY CARBON XR.
Öhlins suspension components provide 150 mm of rear wheel travel and 170 mm at the front.
This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you have to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.
