The wind, this natural element that challenges cyclists and pushes them to their limits. Fight, fight and fight again against this invisible force that slows you down, slows you down and breaks your morale. But when this wind is tamed, it carries you to new heights of performance. It is this DNA that the new Xelius DRS embodies perfectly. This bike - a combination of Xelius SL and Aircode DRS - doesn't play with the wind, it faces it, challenges it and gets the best out of it.
In the wind tunnel, the figures are clear: the aerodynamics have improved by 15 % compared to its predecessors. In watts, the outstanding performance is confirmed with a saving of up to 15 watts at high speeds on a flat road. And what about racing? A new speed rocket crowned by Cassandre Beaugrand at the Olympic Games. And will continue to push everyone's performance to the limit!
Xelius DRS, performance and comfort
Lapierre's engineers have made a weighty choice with their radical decision to combine the best of two bikes with numerous professional victories. Nevertheless, this bike cannot be reduced to speed alone: These new, racy lines and sleek design (particularly visible on the fork) offer a completely new perspective. The thoroughly revised 3D tubular technology frees up the entire seat tube so that it can deform along its entire length.
The result is significantly improved comfort that subtly complements the nervous geometry of the rear triangle. Performance with all the comfort, then, confirmed by compatibility with a wide range of tyres (up to 32 mm) to tackle a variety of roads (cobbles, off-road, gravel, etc.). A born road bike!
This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you have to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.

Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles
The safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles requires careful checks, regular maintenance and proper handling. These instructions provide you with practical recommendations for safe use and should be followed in conjunction with the operating instructions of the respective manufacturer.
1. Safety checks before riding
The following checks should be carried out before every journey:
Brakes and steering: Test the functionality of the brakes and ensure that the steering is smooth and stable.
Tyres and wheels: Check that the tyres are correctly inflated and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are secure.
Fastenings: Check that attachments such as mudguards, pannier racks, saddle and pedals are securely fastened.
Accessories and load: Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly fitted and that the permitted load capacity is not exceeded.
2. Technical safety and authorised use
Component inspection: Regularly inspect safety-relevant components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bike if there are visible defects.
Maximum load capacity: Observe the weight limits for the total weight (bike, rider, payload and trailer if applicable). The details can be found in the manufacturer's information.
Proper use: Only use the bike or e-bike within the scope of the intended use category. Improper use leads to safety risks.
Accessories and modifications: Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers and do not make any unauthorised modifications, especially to the drive system of e-bikes.
3. Special instructions for e-bikes
Battery and charging process:
Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.
Charge the battery in a safe place and in accordance with the temperature specifications.
Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.
Electric assistance:
Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the pushing aid. Test the e-bike in a safe environment first, especially with different loads or difficult ground conditions.
Running in the disc brakes:
Run in new brakes before your first big ride to ensure optimum braking performance.
Transport specifications:
Observe the manufacturer's instructions and legal regulations when transporting.
