PULL A LEASH, NOT A BALLAST

A new type of rider is emerging - one who loves the freedom and exploration that gravel culture was founded on, but who is also keen to ride hard, go all out and push not only geographical but also personal boundaries. This frontier requires a new kind of gravel machine, one that is not designed for roaming the trails, but for racing.

For these athletes, we designed the Áspero for pure, unadulterated speed, ready to conquer finish lines, KOMs, PRs and FKTs. A bike designed without limits, for the riders who want to test them. It's stiff - classic and sporty - and handles the way you'd expect a road bike to off-road. We think that makes sense, and it's what we were aiming for when we fitted larger tyres to the existing frames and aftermarket forks to allow for a 40mm tyre up front.

The flip chip in the fork - we call it the trail mixer - ensures that the trail measurement remains consistent whether you choose 700c or 650b tyres. This maintains the bike's personality and handling characteristics when you switch from mid-width to full-width tyres. There are as many different ways to ride gravel as there are gravel bikes these days, but if you want to be on the start line, keep up with the front runners and fight for the win, the Áspero is the bike to do it.

This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you have to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.
