Long before the term "sports marketing" was invented or the advertising slogan "uvex is the name of ski goggles" became popular, skiers, motor sports enthusiasts and mountaineers relied on our quality products.
in 2014, our first-class products for athletes range from innovative ski goggles to professional racing helmets for winter sports, cycling and equestrian sports.
It has been a long journey from our humble beginnings in a suburb of Fürth to becoming an international group of companies. Difficult phases, war years, economic depression, but also dynamic years of reconstruction and very successful periods characterise our company history.
The frequently quoted motto "think global - act local" was already a guideline and programme for our long-established company when buzzwords such as "globalisation" or "global player" were still foreign words for many.
