The origin of the Spanish mountain bike brand
Mondraker, founded in Alicante, Spain, in 2001, has quickly become one of the leading brands in the mountain bike industry. Where does the name "Mondraker" actually come from? Founder Miguel Pina is a comic book fan and was absolutely fascinated by the comic strip "Mandrake, the Magician" because he could snap and create things out of nothing. So Miguel (and his partner) snapped and created a new brand out of nothing.
