Care instructions & tips for e-bike batteries
- In winter (at sub-zero temperatures), please only insert the battery shortly before riding.
- In summer, place the bike in the shade or remove the battery.
- During operation, the battery switches off if it overheats or overcools.
- The battery can be charged at any time directly on the bike or when removed. Whether only one hour or completely full.
- Charging is NOT possible at temperatures below 0° or above 40°!
- If the bike is not used for a longer period of time (e.g. over the winter months), please remove the battery. Ideally, it should be charged to between forty and sixty per cent (2-3 LEDs).
- The charger switches off automatically as soon as the battery is fully charged. Then disconnect the charger from the battery!
- When inserting the battery, please ensure that it is correctly engaged in the lock.
