City e-bikes and their special features:

City e-bikes are the right choice for urban commuters. They are characterised by a high level of comfort and efficiency, making them ideal for riding in the city. With features such as integrated lighting systems, robust pannier racks and mudguards and easy-to-regulate motors, you will always arrive at your destination relaxed. E-city bikes also often have a hub gear and/or belt drive, which makes them very easy to maintain. The perfect companion for everyday use!

Trekking e-bikes and their special features:

Trekking e-bikes are an excellent choice if you want to cover longer distances or enjoy trips into the countryside. They are designed to offer comfort on long journeys, but also have features such as longer battery life, more robust construction and wider tyres for different terrains. On trekking bikes, we often find derailleur gears, as they have a higher gear range and are therefore better suited to steep climbs. Let's go on an adventure!

E-mountain bikes:

E-mountain bikes open up a new world of mountain biking. They combine the power of an electric motor with the downhill-orientated design of traditional mountain bikes, allowing you to tackle steep and difficult trails both uphill and downhill without any problems. E-mountainbikes are divided into fullys and hardtails. The differences lie in the suspension. While hardtails only have suspension at the front and are therefore more suited to moderate terrain, fullys have additional suspension in the frame which, depending on the suspension travel, can also be used to tackle difficult terrain. With an e-mountainbike, you can tackle longer and more challenging routes and experience nature in a whole new way!

City & trekking bikes - everyday use

City and trekking bikes are the ideal companions for everyday use. They are practical, reliable and an environmentally friendly alternative to other modes of transport. A city bike offers you the opportunity to get around the city quickly and efficiently, while a trekking bike is ideal for longer distances or weekend excursions. Both types of bike offer an upright riding position that provides a good overview and comfort. With equipment options for pannier racks, mudguards and lights, these bikes are perfect for everyday use!

Gender-specific bikes and their differences

The difference between men's and women's bikes lies mainly in the geometry of the frame. Men's bikes often have a higher crossbar, which gives them additional stability. Women's bikes, on the other hand, usually have a lower step-through, which makes it easier to get on and off the bike and minimises the standover height. At STATERA, we make sure that all our bikes are ergonomically designed and offer models that are tailored to the specific needs of men and women.

What price should I budget for a bike?

Bicycle prices can vary greatly depending on factors such as type, frame material, equipment and brand. At STATERA you will find bikes in different price ranges, so you are sure to find a model that suits your budget and requirements. We offer you transparent pricing and are happy to advise you so that you get the best value for money.

Finding the right frame size

Choosing the right frame size is crucial for your riding comfort and performance. At STATERA, we help you determine your ideal frame size by taking into account various factors such as your height, torso and leg length. With our expertise, we ensure that you find a bike that fits like a glove. An initial indicator of this can be our manufacturer recommendation, which you can view for all models under "Find the right frame size".

Other important aspects are personal preferences and intended use. Especially if you are between two frame sizes. With a larger frame, for example, you have more stability and freedom of movement on the bike. You also have a slightly longer wheelbase, which provides additional safety and confidence. You therefore need a more active riding style to ride the bike. Smaller bikes feel more agile and react more quickly to the rider's input. Think about what best suits your riding style. Do you want the bike to be agile and manoeuvrable? Or more directional and stable? Do you want to put more or less effort into moving the bike?

Finding the right bike

Which components are important?

The quality of the gears, the type of brakes and the type of frame are just some of the factors that make a bike. We explain what is important when it comes to the various components so that you can make an informed decision.

Which frame material is right for me?

Aluminium, steel, carbon or titanium - each frame material has its own advantages and disadvantages. We'll help you find the right material for your needs and riding style.

Care instructions & tips for e-bike batteries

  • In winter (at sub-zero temperatures), please only insert the battery shortly before riding.
  • In summer, place the bike in the shade or remove the battery.
  • During operation, the battery switches off if it overheats or overcools.
  • The battery can be charged at any time directly on the bike or when removed. Whether only one hour or completely full.
  • Charging is NOT possible at temperatures below 0° or above 40°!
